Today Congressman Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md.) led a group of Baltimore leaders, including State Senator Perry Sfikas (D-Md. 46th ret.), Delegate Carolyn Krysiak (D-Md. 46th ret.), and Councilman Edward L. Reisinger (D-Baltimore City 6th), in endorsing Brooke in the race for 46th District delegate.
Brooke received a great write up in Baltimore Magazine, where she was named as one of the up-and-comers under 40 shaping the future of Baltimore!
Today marks 10 months until the June 24, 2014 primary election. Brooke invites voters and supporters to kick off the early campaign season and hear more about her candidacy at a series of house parties this fall, starting in Federal Hill on October 10. Supporters can see the full list of house parties and register to join Brooke here: www.brookelierman.com/events.
Also, a few weeks ago she represented the Federal Hill Neighborhood Association in front of the Liquor Board and several news organizations reported on the successful outcome of that hearing! Both the Baltimore Business Journal and Baltimore Brew covered the hearing.
I'm Brooke Lierman and I'm running for state delegate in District 46. The election may be a year away, but I'm busy today meeting residents, knocking on doors, and talking to Baltimoreans about what makes our City great, and how it can be even better.
I am running to represent District 46 in Annapolis because I love Baltimore, but I think it can be better. The neighborhoods of District 46 – from Fell’s Point to Locust Point and Bayview to Brooklyn – are some of the best our state has to offer. Whether you are a born and bred Baltimorean, or someone who found Baltimore later in life and have decided to stay and raise your young family here– we all want the same things: a clean, safe, prosperous, and green City where we can live, work, and play. I want to make sure that our neighborhoods get the resources and support from the State that they need to make sure that they don’t just survive, but that they thrive.
